SMJ100A vector signal generator

Description The R&S-SMJ100A has all the functions and performance required of a vector signal generator for various applications. For example, it offers the signal quality and flexibility needed in research and development. Of course, it also features a convenient graphical user interface (GUI). In production lines, its flexible baseband and fast settling time are effective; especially in the baseband, it can handle all applications from real-time signal generation to the playback of pre-calculated waveforms. The R&S-SMJ100A is available with frequency options of 3GHz or 6GHz, supporting all frequency bands essential for digital RF transmission. The internal baseband generator option supports many digital standards such as GSM/EDGE, 3GPP FDD, and CDMA2000. Furthermore, it has a wide modulation bandwidth to support future standards, enabling it to easily handle new standards like WiMAX. The built-in arbitrary waveform generator has a maximum memory of 64M samples and can play back signals generated by R&S-WinIQSIM or Matlab.
