Features:
The integrating sphere of the new 81628C high-power optical probe can accept signal inputs from single-mode fibers (NA ≤ 0.2), multi-mode fibers (NA ≤ 0.4), and parallel light beams (with a diameter of up to 3 mm). If equipped with a built-in heat sink, it can measure optical power up to +40 dBm. This form factor allows you to flexibly place the remote optical power meter and then connect it to the N7749C. A wide range of adapters are available for you to choose from, supporting common types of fiber connectors, bare fibers, or open beam. The N7749C interface can be used to connect two or four optical power probes
• Control remote probes
• The sample averaging time range for all probes is from 100 µs to 10 s
• Transmit through LAN and USB interfaces and display measurement results on the built-in web browser-based graphical user interface (GUI)
• Keysight's optical power meters use the common SCPI command set
• Power values are saved in the dual 1M sample buffer of each probe, and continuous sampling is carried out using internal or external triggers
• Uninterrupted simultaneous measurement and reading display can minimize the overhead time of repeated measurements
• A common trigger concept throughout the series
